Amy Liang
Amy is currently finishing her final year at Binghamton University, where she double majors in Environmental Policy and Philosophy, Politics, & Law. Her interests within environmentalism range from accessible education to grassroots organizing, particularly through the lens of environmental justice. At BU, she leads the NYPIRG organization and advocates for fair trade issues as a Fair Trade Campaigns fellow. Through her roles as a student, researcher, and activist, Amy developed passions for creating inclusive environmental policies and laws. During her time at ELI, she helped to facilitate fundraising initiatives, draft donor literature, and support event planning for the Annual Award Ceremony. She is grateful for ELI’s commitment to supporting aspiring environmentalists like her. After graduation, Amy hopes to leverage her education and lessons from ELI into her career. Whether that is at law school, through NGO work, or teaching, she is optimistic for the future of environmentalism and ELI.
