Andres Llado
Research and Publications Intern, ELI
Andres is a fourth-year Environmental Science and Global Studies double major at the University of Chicago from San Juan, Puerto Rico. His main research interests lie in energy policy and the transformation of the energy sector into one that is mostly reliant on renewable or clean energy, a process which brings about multiple logistic, political, and economic challenges. On campus, Andres works as a research assistant with Professor Moyer’s research group studying convective tracers and high cirrus cloud formation. Outside of class, Andres plays tennis, goes to the gym, watches series, listens to music and podcasts (true crime and science podcasts are his favorites!), and explores the city of Chicago with friends.
