Brittany Lauren Wheeler
Brittany Lauren Wheeler works at the moral-legal interfaces of migration in the field of geography. Her engagements center on notions and practices of responsibility, especially as they impact the dynamic between historic and contemporary justice. She is an experienced lecturer, teacher, researcher, writer, editor, tour guide & administrator. She holds degrees in English (BA), International Museum Studies (MA), and Forced Migration (MA) from institutions in the US, Europe, and Africa, and has engaged her interests and concern with matters of repatriation, reparation, historical justice, death-and-dying work, and the future of environmental migration in various research, teaching, editing, and project-based work. She is currently completing her PhD at the Graduate School of Geography at Clark University.
