Sahara Khan
Research & Publications Intern
Sahara Khan is an undergraduate senior at the University of Texas at Austin and Fall 2018 UT System Bill Archer Fellow. As a Latin American Languages and Cultures major earning certificates in Public Policy and Food & Society, their environmental research interests include food systems, agricultural law, and racially disparate impacts of industrial pollution, and climate change. At ELI, Sahara contributes to various projects by researching U.S. Green Streets policies, assisting with Associates Programs events, and compiling material for the BRIGHT Area-Wide Planning Guide. Upon graduation, Sahara plans to work in legal advocacy spaces for racial and environmental justice before pursuing a dual degree in Law and Public Affairs.
