"Based within the Urban Center at Cleveland State University's Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs, GLEFC helps communities and states build cost-effective and high-quality strategies for environmental improvement and sustainable economic development. A team of finance, real estate, economics, planning, economic development, infrastructure, and environmental experts provide client services in brownfields redevelopment, environmental infrastructure needs, and environmental policy analysis. The GLEFC is one of nine university based environmental finance centers established by the US EPA to assist in creating sustainable environmental systems in the public and private sectors. The GLEFC provides services to local and state governments, not-for-profits, and businesses in US EPA Region 5."
