Recipient of EPA 2015 Brownfields Assessment, Revolving Loan Fund and Cleanup Grant program

The Mississippi Conference of Black Mayors has also received a grant from the EPA to continue their work on brownfield remediation and redevelopment. The organization’s work focuses on using existing infrastructure to build vibrant downtown areas, increasing use of local parks and working for environmental justice in Mississippi. They are a partner and grant recipient in the EPA’s Environmental Justice Collaborative Problem-Solving (EJCPS) Cooperative Agreement Program.
