The effects of climate change are already being felt. While its impacts vary dramatically by region, climate change is a challenge faced worldwide. This symposium explored the role of laws and policies for adaptation in the areas of natural resources, human impacts, and institutional and regulatory design. Maria Blair, Deputy Associate Director for Climate Change Adaptation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality presented the keynote address.
