An Emerging Leaders Initiative Seminar
Join the Environmental Law Institute for a series of seminars exclusively for the ELI Emerging Leaders Initiative members. These seminars will consist of presentations about different career paths within environmental law. Experts in their field will discuss how they got to their positions, their daily work, and any advice they have for our Emerging Leaders who are interested in getting involved. There will be time at the end of each seminar for questions and networking with the experts.
This installment of the series will discuss careers involving international environmental law. International environmental law is a broad field with opportunities for legal work around the globe, ranging from working on bilateral and multilateral international agreements across a wide range of states to addressing environmental concerns in a single country. Join our experts to discuss various career opportunities and how they built their careers in international environmental law. How can someone licensed to practice in the United States find work dealing with global issues? With the recent developments in international environmental law, what new career opportunities are arising? What skillsets should environmental lawyers have if they want to participate in international work, and how can those skills be built? Our experts will discuss these questions and so much more.
