Avi Garbow has served as General Counsel of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency since 2013. Avi leads more than 200 lawyers working at EPA Headquarters in Washington, DC and its ten Regional offices. During his tenure as EPA General Counsel, Avi has promoted President Obama’s environmental agenda, including the Clean Power Plan, Clean Water Rule, and many other initiatives which protect public health, improve public access to environmental information, and advance environmental justice. During this event, Avi discussed recent agency accomplishments, updates on agency priorities and his Office’s goals for the upcoming months.
