An ELI Public Webinar
Join authors Peter Lehner and Nathan Rosenberg as they discuss issues raised in their new book published by ELI Press—Farming for Our Future: The Science, Law, and Policy of Climate-Neutral Agriculture—along with other expert panelists. The importance of agricultural climate solutions should not be underestimated as they are critical elements both in ensuring our food security and limiting climate change. This webinar will examine the policies and legal reforms necessary to accelerate the adoption of practices that can make agriculture in the United States climate-neutral or better.
Expert panelists will present on the subjects covered in the book such as: What is the science behind climate-neutral agriculture, and how can we transform farm policy to increase climate-friendly practices? What environmental and climate benefits result from agroforestry and perennial agriculture? How can we advance climate-neutral agriculture through federal agencies outside of the USDA, as well as through private and nonprofit sectors? Join the Environmental Law Institute and experts in the field to discuss essential opportunities for policymakers to realize climate neutrality in agriculture.
