An ELI ELI Program

For the month of March’s Emerging Leaders Initiative (ELI ELI) program, Jane Luxton of ELI’s Leadership Council will be providing opening remarks and exploring her path as a leader in environmental law. This will be the first major opportunity for Emerging Leaders, especially our new Leaders of the 2021 cohort, to meet and network with each other following Jane’s remarks.

Jane brings her diverse array of expertise in the environmental law sector. She served in several leadership positions in U.S. government, including as General Counsel of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and she was appointed by former President George W. Bush to head the U.S. delegation to the 2008 Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission. As Managing Partner of Lewis Brisbois’ Washington, D.C. office, she advises businesses, associations, and coalitions in navigating all levels of the federal regulatory process.

Jane will be speaking on her experiences pursuing a variety of different roles within the environmental law and policy sector, including her career trajectory in pursuing leadership positions in both federal government and private practice. Join the Environmental Law Institute, ELI ELI, and Jane as she explores potential pathways and opportunities for professional growth and leadership in this rapidly accelerating field.

Following the conclusion of Jane’s remarks, participants are warmly welcome to engage in conversation with fellow Emerging Leaders on the Remo platform. Leaders are encouraged to meet and get to know both new and returning Leaders, fostering and deepening relationships in a pivotal time for the environmental field.

ELI ELI programs are for the exclusive benefit of Emerging Leaders.
