- Mayors from fourteen cities in the metropolitan Boston region signed a Metro Boston Climate Preparedness Commitment last week, agreeing to collaborate to prepare the region for the impacts of climate change
- Kansas Gov. Brownback signs laws requiring legislative approval of any state compliance plan for the CPP and eliminating the state’s renewable-energy standard in favor of a voluntary goal
- Colorado Gov. Hickenlooper told Sen. McConnell that Colorado will comply with the Clean Power Plan
- Texas Gov. Abbott issued a statement offering McConnell “support for his efforts to fight this federal government overreach” but did not explicitly commit to refusing to submit a plan
