After the Oil Spill - Providing Migratory Bird Habitat Along the Gulf Coast

After the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the Natural Resources Conservation Service provided $40 million in funding to secure additional migratory bird habitat across eight states. Ducks Unlimited partnered with the Service in Louisiana and Texas to secure both short-term and long-term habitat for migratory birds.
