Designing State Wetland Strategies

The no overall net loss of wetlands, as well as eventual increase in wetlands quantity and quality, was a goal proposed by the National Wetlands Policy Forum nearly two years ago. While these objectives have been widely embraced, the challenge remains to translate these broad mandates into specific policies- and those policies into action.
