Huntley Meadows Wetland of Fairfax County, Virginia

Huntley Meadows Park is a 1260-acre wildlife preserve and wetland situated 10 minutes south of National Airport in Fairfax County Virginia. It is a unique wetland—the urban setting makes Huntley Meadows one of the outdoor attractions of metropolitan Washington, D.C. But the proposed construction of a four-lane highway through the Park is threatening to destroy this valuable natural system.
