Summary
Recently developed remote sensing technologies and techniques have the potential to improve the detail and reliability of wetland maps, update existing National Wetlands Inventory data, monitor changes in the wetland layer of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure, and improve the monitoring of key parameters that impact the ability of wetlands to provide ecosystem services at the watershed scale.
