In the Land of Many Promises

The Endangered Habitats League is a coalition of conservation groups in southern California dedicated to ecosystem protection and improved land use planning in the area. We have been active participants in the Natural Communities Conservation Planning process over the last three years, and serve in working groups and advisory committees for all the multi-species programs in southern California. The NCCP program represents a consensus that comprehensive planning for both ecosystem protection and compatible development is the best way to resolve conflicts over endangered species in southern California.
