An Underutilized Resource for Wetlands: Corporate America

Corporations own and control a third of the remaining wetlands in the lower 48 states, and they own an even larger portion of the sites where wetland values could be economically restored. In most urban areas, almost alll of the undeveloped wetlands and open areas where wetlands could be restored are owned by corporations.
