Wetland Maps - History and Current Needs

For decades, the National Wetlands Inventory has provided a foundation for mapping wetlands throughout the country. While the program continues to innovate new products and be used widely by the public and private sectors, limited funding is causing a paradigm shift. Stakeholders will need to weigh in on alternative funding approaches for providing national, accurate geospatial data for wetland conservation.
