Why Do Landowners Restore Wetlands?

An individual landowner's decision to restore welands is as varied and complex as most other social decisions he or she makes. However, some recent surveys have been conducted with some clear conclusions: Private landowners will restore and conserve wetlands and other natural habitats if they believe that it is the right thing to do, if they can afford it, and if they have some help.
