December 2014
The ELI Publications and Associates team reached a milestone in 2014 by hosting or co-sponsoring more than 100 seminars, surpassing the century mark for the first time in our history. This accomplishment would not be have been possible without the help of the DC Bar, ABA, ALI/CLE, and the many firms that generously hosted our boot camps and co-sponsored our seminars.
"The Environmental Law Institute is quite proud of cresting over 100 educational programs in 2014, the highest number in our 45 year history," said John C. Cruden, President. "Our educational leadership is one of our primary methods of advancing the environment and promoting the rule of law."
Highlights from our 2014 event program include:
• 8-Part Basic Summer School on Environmental Law;
• Two Three-Day Boot Camps on applied Environmental Law
• Monthly 30-minute briefings on the latest climate law and policy developments;
• A review of the year's Supreme Court cases and a preview of the coming docket;
• A debrief of the Supreme Court's oral argument on EPA's GHG rulemakings
• Courses designed for working professionals to enhance their legal practice; and
• Workshops that provide tangible skills along with Continuing Legal Education credits.
ELI looks forward to continuing our success in 2015.
