An ELI Workshop
This two-day workshop aims to integrate wetland and watershed conservation and restoration prioritization methodologies into hazard mitigation planning to promote the adoption of nature-based strategies. Our goals include exploring existing tools, assessing opportunities for integration of the tools into hazard mitigation planning, pinpointing opportunities for building strong partnerships, and expanding the reach of innovative methodologies for identifying and developing nature-based hazard mitigation strategies. Through panels and small group discussions, we aim to produce actionable next steps by the workshop's end.
